Moosefest "Metamorpho-moose"
Oil on Fiberglass Moose
Lifesize
2005

Metamorphomoose is a life-size fiberglass moose I painted for Bennington, Vermont’s Moosefest. Its body is covered with vibrant monarch butterflies, while its legs are painted like caterpillars—capturing the magic of transformation in every stage. After the festival, the moose made its own migration and now resides in Pacific Grove, California—affectionately known as Butterfly Town, U.S.A.—where it continues to celebrate the beauty of change and the wonder of nature.
